I’m A Winner “Adedire Ososanya” Scholarship

The Adedire Ososanya Memorial “I'm A Winner” Scholarship is awarded annually to a qualified and deserving Morgan State University freshman class member. The scholarship honors the memory of former Morgan State University student, Adedire Ososanya, who passed away at the age of 20 as the result of an automobile accident on December 17, 2015. Adedire was initiated a proud member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, through Pi Chapter at Morgan State University just a few weeks before his untimely passing. Even with his unexpected passing, Adedire had already accomplished much and positively impacted others around the Morgan State University community. He was a junior maintaining a better than 3.0 grade point average majoring in business marketing in the prestigious Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management. Even as he attended to his studies, Adedire maintained an active and positive presence on the Morgan State University campus to where his peers voted him not only “Mr. Sophomore,” but also “Mr. Junior” for Morgan State University. Ever striving to higher heights, Adedire also aspired to one day hold the honored title of “Mr. Morgan State University”. Adedire was an intelligent, loving and humble young man who exemplified leadership and service to his community in such humanitarian endeavors as Morgan State Ambassador, Social Action Chair and Photographer to name a few. Adedire lived a life that was consistent with the spirit of MANHOOD, SCHOLARSHIP, PERSEVERANCE and UPLIFT, which are the four Cardinal Principles of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated.
